These guys started out as a squad of Space Marines from Assault on Black Reach box set that I saved from the horrors of Ebay. The models came to be in half way rough shape. Primed, but nasty mold lines and not really put together right.
Now I'm not saying I'm the best guy out there. After you take the pictures, you always find a mold line you missed. And this is the case with this marine. But here's a look a little side project I've been toying with from time to time.

First Look at Valkyrie; Icefyre
I received a valkyrie for Christam from my fiance. I plan on magnetizing it for all options, including a vendetta. This is the first look at it.

Intolerance; Bane Blade
This project began back last Easter when my fiance got a bane blade for me for my Confirmation. It's taken me all these months to get it put together and painted to a standard I'm proud of.
Thanks for your patience, baby. This one is for you.

Chicago Battle Bunker!
Had a chance to sneak into geek-Mecca over the holiday break! Was in the greater Chicago area to see some of the in-laws and managed to convince my brother-in-law to drive over with me. Will have some pictures of the place up soon.
Other good news is that I got a Valkyrie for Christmas from my loving wife. Will start on it once I finish my bane blade, Intolerance. Look forward to pictures of those, too!

The Blessings of The Warp
I've had this figure for a few years now, and it was left in a state of semi-complete for over a year. I just recently got around to finishing it properly.

Myself and my armies
I've been involved in Warhammer 40k since the spring of 2005. At the time, I was introduced to the material by a group of gamers I was involved with, and haven't looked back since.
My first models were figures with paint just caked on them. I remember looking at the majesty of the models in White Dwarf and from the Heavy Metal Team and then looking at my own handiwork and disparing. Why didn't my models look like that? How was I ever supposed to get that good? I almost abandoned the hobby then.
I have since overcome that first crushing realization that painting can be very challenging and proceeded to develop my own style.
I play Night Lords, a war band called Raiders of The Veil. I haven't done a lot with them since the latest Codex came out though. There just really isn't a lot of fun in that book.
I also play Imperial Guard, Space Wolves, and have my own Space Marine Chapter (The Legion of Bone) that I'd enjoy getting a chance to do some more with in the future.
Three Marine armies?! Insanity! I know.
